The track โWhoโs on top?โ is already out on all platforms! It is, again, an internal dialogue describing the control of my body by an inner demon that breaks out of the primitive emotional depths of my brain and reveals my animal nature. Humans are often very arrogant creatures and frequently fail to recognize their true nature, concealing it beneath layers of stereotypes and dogmas that arose because, once upon a time, the same people, helpless in their ignorance of the environment, decided to create a framework for an infinite and unpredictable universe, limiting it to the size and capacity of their own imaginations. I endeavor to keep this concept in mind, and my recent tracks can be interpreted as my self-reflection and contemplation on the conflict between the animalistic and โcivilizedโ aspects of humanity.
These two tracks are an exploration of the musicianโs inner world through the lens of the Drum&Bass style. The wild, untamed energy generated by inner monsters is felt in every note. They are a portal to those parts of the musicianโs brain that are not connected with rationality and logic, but reflect the primal emotional nature of humans.
A quiet reflection from inside a growing drum & bass label on why slow, steady progress can make an ordinary day feel genuinely special.
For TANA, โOxygenโ is more than just a new single โ it is the beginning of a new artistic era.
Why the same drum & bass track sounds different in a club, a car, a smartphone and at a festival, and what it means for how you mix and master.
