It all started in the town of Vyshneve, just outside Kyiv. Thatโs where fate brought me together with a person who, nearly twenty years later, is still by my side. His name is Andrii Doka.Over the years, weโve been through everything: endless late-night conversations, crazy ideas, hilarious stories, mistakes, victories, and countless moments that still make us smile today. Weโve gone through different stages of life, but our friendship has stood the test of time.

Seeing the Future Before I Did
One of the reasons for that is that he always saw more in me than I saw in myself. He would constantly say: โYou need to build something of your own. Create. Lead. Do something bigger.โ Back then, those words felt like nothing more than conversations between friends, but years later, I realize just how accurate they were.

He always listened to music differently than most people, noticing details others would overlook and constantly introducing me to new perspectives. Many of the ideas that later became part of my life were first discussed during our conversations.

More Than Just Friendship
Looking back today, I understand that true friendship is not measured by the number of meetings or messages. Itโs measured by the people you can rely on years later. And if there is one person I can call at almost any moment and know he will answer, itโs DOKA.Twenty years later, many things have changed. Cities, countries, circumstances, and goals have all come and gone. But some things remain unchanged. One of them is a friendship that began in Vyshneve and continues to this day.Thank you for all these years, brother. For your support, your honesty, and for believing in me long before I fully understood where this journey would lead.

More Than Just a House
There was always something special about DOKAโs place. Having graduated from music school, he carried that creative energy into everyday life and somehow turned his home into a meeting point for people from all over Kyiv. Musicians, artists, dreamers, and friends would constantly find their way there โ not because anyone invited them, but because they wanted to be part of the atmosphere. A few cats lazily wandering through the rooms, plants filling every corner with life, music playing somewhere in the background, and a rooftop terrace that became the center of endless conversations under the evening sky. It was never just a house. It was a place where ideas were born, friendships grew stronger, and people felt they belonged.

Years may pass, people may move on, but the memories created here continue to connect us.
